ds has had sleep issues lately, so dh had the thought that we were approaching it all wrong. instead of trying to get him to go to "sleep", we tried tucking him in & putting him to "bed". ds nursed for a little while, stopped all by himself and i asked him if he was ready to be tucked in, he said ok. i laid next to the crib the whole time & he laid there a while rambling and asked for milk twice, but i just gently said "not now" and he didn't complain or get upset at all. i never thought this day would come!!!!!
