Any high risk mamas wanting VBA2C?

The title says it all...

but..

I'm just curious if anyone else has had 2 high risk pregnancies (first one we didn't know was high risk, until I abrupted at 29 wks and had a truely emergency c-section)...second one, I had oligo (no debating this please--I was on complete bedrest from 30 wks on and spent 2 wks in the hospital and fought like Heck for a VBAC that could not happen--you can probably find my old threads about this, b/c I posted here a lot during that time).

I don't know that we'll do it again, but if so, I do not want another c-section just "because you had 2 csections". If I made it full term, healthy, etc, I want a VBAC. But very few in our area will do VBACs at all, let alone for me! And the homebirth mw's are unlikely to attend me (I've asked..)

How do I find a doc who would help me VBAC?

Thanks!

Hello- I am in a similar situation with 2 prv hr pregnancies and so far, the only luck I've had was finding a CNM who practice VBAC. Drs now days are very anti vbac as are hospitals, as so to avoid lawsuits. Gl hun!

Well, I'm not high risk due to any issues with pregnancy. Some consider me high risk because I had gastric bypass surgery 3 years ago however I have talked to a lot of other moms who had gastric bypass and none had any problems with their pregnancy related to the surgery. Both of my cesareans were not emergencies, and the 1st was actually totally unecessary. I'm hoping for a HBA2C, possibly UC.

Check with your local ICAN chapter to get dr recommendations.
