GREAT FIND ~ Toddler Tools

I am very active on MDC but honestly don't spend much time in this section because it can seem too one-sided and not as solution/teaching oriented as I desire for myself and my dd so hopefully my sharing will help others on their quest. If it is not for you please do not flame me.... I *HAVE* to share these because they have helped soooo much!

I came across Toddler Tools Series which are board books that deal with common areas that are power struggles for parents and toddlers. The book is easy to read, pleasant for kids to listen to and has tips at the end to help parents further along the path of engaging whatever cooperation is desired in that book.

Check them out: http://www.freespirit.com/catalog/it...fm?ITEM_ID=702 I have the listening time book and have a few of the older kid books too!

Oh and I think I should say that all the books I have encourage either routine or communication (sometimes both routine and communication) but all very GD in my book!

There is a series of board books available at big book stores w/ titles like "Hands Are Not For Hitting," "Feet Are Not For Kicking," "Teeth Are Not For Biting," etc

Thank-you so much for posting these! My DD is really into books and I think these could really help some of our (normal yet frustrating) behavioural struggles!

The bonus is they can be ordered through amazon.ca and chapters here in Canada!
