Best hair dye? Close to natural as possible?

I'm looking for the best hair dye, as natural as possible? Just trying to cover gray and stay true to my natural medium ash brown. Any suggestions? TIA

I absolutely love Henna. It comes in a wide range of colors, is all natural, and makes my hair look very natural. . .with some "highlights" where my gray used to be. I order it from mountain rose herbs.

I second the henna--it's what i'll use "when the time comes" . My aunt uses it with fabulous results. She uses starwest botanicals. I've googled it and learned so much. There are some rules--regular hair color--home or professional--don't always mix with henna-dyed hair, for instance.
