foster parents in MO or GA?

We are currently in Iowa and have put our adoption plans on hol,d. We plan to move / want to move in the next 12 to 18 to 24 months (depends on getting the house on the market, getting it sold, and DH getting into a differnt office).

We are thinking GA for three years then MO. or maybe just right to MO.

When we arrive in our new location tiem 1 after unpacking is to certify as foster to adopt family and start seeking a girl to add to our family.

Just looking for imput from any foster families in GA or MO ... the good and the bad.

(we began the certificaion process here in Iowa but stopped when we realized we'd be moving before an adoption could be finished and also given the unknown move date we didn't feel right accepting a foster placement either)

Sorry I missed your post earlier. I wonder if you also might post in the Finding Your Tribe section of the boards. It can be a bit spotty to find folks in the state you are looking here, but perhaps they will turn up!
