Which Mei Tai?

I think I want to get a mei tai, but I know nothing about them. Can you suggest some that might work for me?

Baby #3 is 4.5mos which has always been a tough time for me for babywearing. I love wrapping up until about 4mos and I love, love, love my Ergo after about 6 mos but right now neither she (nor I) are really comfortable in either. Baby #2 was bigger and I was able to get him comfortable in the Ergo earlier.

So, I'm thinking about a mei tai. I know nothing about them. I'll use mostly the front carry. I'd like one that comes up high in the back to support sleeping baby head. It's winter here so I'll be mostly inside with her. I like a little padding but nothing super bulky. I'd rather not spend $$$$ because I expect to use the Ergo primarily after another month or two.

Help please! I've got a bum wrist and sore rhomboids...I need to stop carrying her so much

Big fan of Babyhawk MTs here!
However, Mei Tai Baby has adjustable bottoms so baby's legs aren't as splayed. And they're cheaper if you go with the basic.
Also, you might want to try the hip carry with the Ergo- that's what worked for me when DS was that age.

The Babyhawks are great. of course, there are lots of other good, reputable brands out there.

I had never tried a babyhawk until about a week ago when I got one for my cousin to use with her new twins, but I was very impressed with it. It was quite comfortable, plus they have so many strap colours/fabric options
