I have just started to become interested in having a Bible again. I had one as a teen, but I want a fresh start now. I am finishing up and (mostly) enjoying Marcus Borg's "Reading the Bible Again for the first time." Any suggestions on a good format/translation? I believe the Bible I had in my youth was an NIV.
