I started losing chunks of my plug early on (around 34 weeks) with each pregnancy, this one included. Never any blood, though. And the only time I've seen "bloody show" was during active labor with DD2 (I don't count the blood the day of and after cervical checks when I was seeing an OB with DD1 
). But today, I lost a GIANT glob (like 4 times more than the most I've ever seen at once) of mucus, and it was DEFINITELY bloody, though both old and new- a brownish reddish tint. I've had a pantiliner on and have had VERY tiny bit of show since, like just enough to add some color to my liner. While I don't really think much of this, as I'm not really having any good ctx to speak of (just the normal, and some slightly tighter BH, and a few minor crampy moments this morning), and I've been a 40+ weeker (despite early dilation/effacement, etc) with my girls...it DOES make me curious if this is what people would consider to be the "big" losing the plug w/ bloody show? I just have no idea since this experience is all new to me. I was already at 4cm before this (like for at least a week...which that, too, is normal for me) so it's not like I'm just now dilating or anything.
Anybody want to describe, in detail, what it was like for you??? What it looked like, the amount, how long it lasted, etc. Seriously, nothing is TMI for *me* so I don't care how descriptive you get- heck, the more the better.
