Doc pulled foreskin back...

Just got back from my sons first check up and the doc, who is a locum for my normal doc pulled his foreskin back, not completely I did not see his glans so I don't think he fully retracted him, but I am so upset! I was just so shocked and of course I said nothing because I am a chicken, but I will mention it to my normal doc at my six week appt.

What do I need to know about this? Can anything happen? I am freaked.

Most likely, nothing, no need to freak out over it. However, it is the incorrect thing to do and can cause damage in a split second. Don't let it happen again, and bring some material with you the next time, such as these, reporting the incorrect treatment and suggesting some continuing education might be in order for that doctor:

I think you should say something. if everyone keeps quiet this maddeness will just continue. would you consider writing a letter and faxing/mailing/dropping off it to the office?

We are planning on saying something, my husband is gathering materials related to foreskin care by Health Canada and will attach those to a letter. The prob is, this doc is retired and just filling in for my regular doc who is opposed to circ'ing baby boys.

I cant find any formal protocol for docs looking at an uncirc'd penis, makes me wonder if there is a protocol.
