So I don't know if this is the right place to put this or not so feel free to move it mods if necessary.

I would like to do a home learning program for nutrition but I am looking for something that is not from Kaplan or University of Phoenix, etc. Does anyone know where I could find something like that?

TIA!

You may want to try PennFoster.edu. They're accredited and do diploma or certificate programs (a few associate's degrees). They also are pretty inexpensive.

Are you looking for an associates or a bachelor's program?

Have you tried looking at local community colleges or universities? I'm not sure about up north, but I know that many of the community colleges near the twin cities have online classes available.

You may also try asking on the working & student parents forum.

Where I am, the local community colleges and universities have extensive online classes. I think it's even possible to never ever set foot on a campus. Don't know if it's like that everywhere. We are in a REALLY military town, so the plethora of online offerings may be a result of that, but definitely worth looking into.

Have you looked into opencourseware?

I know MIT offers this, but there are others as well. Basically, you get the lecture notes, exams, videos, etc. from actual university classes to use as you wish--no registration, no $$ (but no credit or degree either, in case that's important to you.)
