I'm looking for an alternative to Vitamin K injection. Can anyone provide insight, articles, research, manufacturers inserts, etc? I unerstand there is a way to administer Vitamin K through oral dosage. Are there any risks involved in that versus the injection? TIA.

I personally wouldn't want to be introducing an artificial substance into a virgin breastfed gut, but I also don't do the injection.
You might want to read up about Vitamin K rich foods, and how it can transfer to the baby through colostrum if you are getting enough.
If you are set on giving the baby additional K through artificial means, I would definitely go with the oral version over the injection. I don't remember the specific article (but I was linked to it through an older thread on MDC so you might try searching old threads), but it said the vitamin K injection is 20,000 times the needed dose.
