Easy felt purse?

I have some super thick raspberry wool that I'd like to use for a purse for my dd for Valentine's Day. Does anyone know of a pattern or tutorial? I'm picturing a heart shape to replace a Disney princess purse (blah!) she loved (and was chewed by a neighbor's dog). Maybe I'll just take that apart and use it for a pattern, but I'd still appreciate tips on construction.

Thank you

If you can get a felting needle, I'd do the seaming and add decorations through felting rather than sewing.

For a little hand bag, just two hearts (<3) joined on the < parts and a handle on each heart curving between the bumps of the 3 would work.

Don't be too worried about getting it right, wool felt is very forgiving of mistakes. It lends itself to being stretched and re-felted and generally manhandled into the form you want.

Thanks I do have a felting needle, but I have trouble coming up with designs. Any suggestions?
