I have been reading bits and pieces about nutrition, digestion, nutrient absorption, detox pathways and food preparation.
And my head is kinda mangled with bits of information right now.
I have recently upped my fermented food intake (yoghurt, sourdough, kimchi, sauerkraut, fermented carrots) after having bright pink urine post eating beetroots, which I understand to be an indication of low stomach acid. I also understood fermented foods to be a good way to improve stomach acidity.
Anyway, I have no idea if it is related to the fermented foods or not, but I have this metal taste in my mouth. It's not something I remember ever having had before.
I have stopped drinking coffee a couple of months back as it was making me jittery and disturbing my sleep. Now I just need to kick the coffee substitute habit
I am not sure what I am even asking. I guess I am a little paranoid about my mercury fillings, and me still nursing. Could the metal taste be related to my fillings?
TIA
