Well, heck, if that's the case, then I'm in the wrong DDC! My EDD according to my O date is March 2nd!

I am only 39 weeks and 5 days but I am impatient to get this rolling. So tomorrow I am taking my son to a ski hill an hour away...that ought to trigger something! (i wont be skiing...)

I think my fatigue and swollenness has kept me near home ... Enough.

Wow, that's really ambitious! I can't imagine trekking to a ski hill at this point- I have a hard enough time making it to the sledding hill across the street!

I had another NST today. (I have them weekly now due to GD). I am contracting with higher numbers on the monitor than before. Everything went well. Then I saw the doctor and he checked my cervix and asked me if I wanted him to strip my membranes if he could get his finger all the way in. I know it's painful and doesn't always work but I would have let him. He couldn't get in all the way anyway.

So the plan is to start induction the evening of 2/28 or morning of 3/1 if baby doesn't make her appearance before then. I really hope she comes on her own before that. Come on baby!!!!

Tonight I feel crampy, cranky, and tired.

I'm due tomorrow and had my membranes stripped on Thursday. Today a bunch of cm came out, about the same amount as when I ovulate. I wonder if the membrane stripping opened my cervix up a bit more and I lost a bit of my mucous plug? He said if I didn't go into labor it could still help open my cervix...

Waaaiiiiting..............

Why is that? Do they want to do it because you have GD and you'll be 40 weeks? I ask because that is why I got induced with my older daughter.

I may be in the same boat as you but won't find out until Wednesday. For me, it's so that I don't have a larger baby than I before. It really all depends on how dilated I am at my check up.

Hi,
I hope everyone is doing well. I am glad there are still a few of us pregnant Feb ddc'ers left.
I am fine. I just ate way too much dinner so feel too full. but other than that had a pretty good day.

I feel as though my baby will wait until his/her due date now that it wasn't before 39 weeks. I don't know why, but I am just not expecting to go into labor before next weekend. We'll see though! We are planning a dinner for Saturday night, DH's birthday, so I'll probably go into labor right before that starts.

Yes, it's because I have insulin dependent GD.
