Feeling really emotional/sensitive 3 months pp

I never really got "the baby blues" or had any meltdowns, but the last few days, I've been tearing up at the littlest thing - from feeling overwhelmed to watching a particularly touching episode of Project Runway

I'm not usually an emotional person, well, not like this anyway. What's happening? Am I on a hormone crash or something?

Maybe you're getting your period? I got mine back ar 7 weeks, but my period was really light. "The next one though, OMG total chaos of emotions.

sorry...i was going to say the same thing. and on top of it i was even MORE upset b/c i had gotten it (recently, at 4.5 months pp.) like i didn't get my moneys worth or something.

buuut....i've heard it could be a random one. that you sometimes get one when your babe starts sleeping longer at night and then your body adjusts and you don;t get it again until weaning. so....hoping!

I was thinking period, too. With DS my period never returned and I got pregnant when he was 13 months old, but with DD I started menstruating when she was 4 months old (and she nurses WAY more than DS ever did). I think every body and every pregnancy/ postpartum time is different and you can never know what to expect!

Talk to someone if you need to, though. Don't let it get out of control
