Help! Need Evap Milk, only have condensed!

I'm making peanut butter fudge, and just realized I only have condensed milk, not evaporated. The recipe calls for 1.5 cups of sugar as well.

Could I mix the condensed with 2% milk half and half to use it? Or use condensed and cut some of the sugar :S

Do you have any dry milk? You can sub with that--use just 40% of the water called for on the box. You can also sub cream, buttermilk (but it might give a sour taste), you can also sub your condensed milk and just lower the sugar in the recipe. . .one site I looked at also said you can just boil down some regular milk--"2 1/4 cups whole milk, gently simmered until it is reduced to 1 cup" and add that in place of evap milk. I think in fudge I would go for the condensed milk and just lower the sugar in the recipe. . .
