My 5 year old loves reading the stories with me at www.progressivphonics.com . They are just perfect for us because she loves a good story and these carry a story through a series of books, repeating words and letter sounds through the stories by having the parent read most of the words.
We're finishing part 2 of Alphabetti...and part 3 isn't there. The beginner phonics books are isolated passages, not stories.
I know I asked a few years ago when my older one was at this place in her reading....but maybe there's a new resource?
I'd love to find really story books introducing the letter sounds where the adult reads the bulk of the words to carry the story forward.
Anyone find something like this?
