TTC and negative tests

Ok so here goes. The last time I had a normal period was December 9th 2009.

I spotted on January 9th 2010 for 3 days. Very light pinkish and only on the toilet paper. December 24th and the 28th were the only times that we had unprotected sex in the past 3 months.

I still do not have my period. My OBGYN diagnosed me with poly cystic ovaries. I told her about the pregnancy issue as I have been experiencing lower back pain, pelvic pressure, the spotting even when my normal menses are soo heavy. I have been constipated and gassy beyond belief. I would love to be pregnant. I am worried about an ectopic. Oh and I have taken HPTs they are all negative. Gyn wouldnt give me a blood test since she was dismissing the idea of pregnancy all together. She wants me to start birth control.

Now when we did the ovarian intravaginal scan this is what we found. It is blurry and i apologize but its all I have.

Any advice would be soo appreciated.

I'm no expert or whatever but that picute doesn't remind me of what PCOS ovaries look like. I have seen mine SEVERAL times on U/S over the past few months and PCOS ovaries look like little dark circles all the way around the ovary in a circle...they look like a strand of beads and the individual "beads" can vary in sizes. If you aren't confortable with what your OB/GYN is telling you i would get a second opinion. I don't know if what i said came out the way i wanted it to...but if you have any question on what a PCOS ovary should look like you can Google Image it and compare your picture to the pictures of the other PCOS ovaries....My own RE told me that several women get diagnosed with PCOS who really don't have it.

Before they do an IUD they have to do a pregnancy test, right? Ask for an IUD! Sorry, but that was the first thing that popped into my head.

Can you go to Planned Parenthood or another clinic for a Beta?

the picture is so fuzzy i cant say for sure about anything one way or the other. I can tell you this though. When i went in for a early u/s with DS I went in around 5-6 weeks. They didnt want to see me that early since you really cant see anything that soon but I had just lost dd and I wanted to calm my nerves. I saw what your u/s looks like. Just a lighter or white patch. My ob told me that was the implantation site and that in another week or two we could actually see the sac.

Thanks.
its actually not even my ovary. It is next to my ovary. I believe its is in or near my uterus. I cant tell either way.

If I were pregnant that would have been at 6 weeks. I added a larger picture, I actually put the wrong one in first anyway. It included my left ovary on the top left of the pic.

I am going for a second opinion but they set my appointment for next friday. By then I would be about 9 weeks. I am definitely praying for a miracle.
