I have read so many times that a fever should not be feared because it is the body's defense against illness. But I have noticed that most of the time when my kids get sick, they don't get a fever. Why is that? My DH and I do when we're sick, but not the kids. Is it possible that because they have a stronger immune system, so the body doesn't have to "go that far" to fight illness off?
FWIW...I say I think they have a better immune system because they don't eat some of the junk we adults do
, they haven't been vaxed, and I think I take better care of their health than my own (bad I know).
