Help me find this pacifier!!!

I bought a pacifier in Japan when my first son was born. It's a Gerber pacifier, and looks similar to this one. BUT, the "bulb" part of it is larger (maybe it wasn't nerbown size?)

I have ONE of them still.

My youngest son has a "bubble" palate, which is a specific palate defect. Because of it, he can't suck on any pacifier other than this one. I have an over supply, and he's a sucker. I also work during the day, and my husband is frantically afraid of losing this ONE pacifier that we have!!!

Can anyone help me find where I can buy more of these?? The "bulb" part is much bigger than the one in this picture...

I can't find it on Gerber's website, looks like they don't sell them anymore??

Could your care provider possible locate some? I know my dd2 had a few "chewy toys" that her therapist provided but that I could never find "over the counter"... perhaps gerber (or whichever company makes this pacifier) currently sell only to the specialty market? I hope someone knows where to find them, but if not maybe youre care provider will know where to find something that would work for your son's palate?

(I also have oversupply so I know how important a paci can be! Good luck!)

Hmm...that's a good question. This kind of palate defect can't be corrected until he's older, so for now he doesn't have a specialist (only his ped who is watching his weight carefully since his latch is difficult). But my middle son has an actual cleft palate, and goes to a cleft palate team. I wonder if they'd know...

I also think I might call Gerber directly. They might be able to help. I've been searching and searching, and just can NOT find this pacifier anymore! I can find lots that are smaller than the one we have, but he can't get the small ones up into his palate.

I hope you can find one. I know how scary it can be to lose something like that!
