Red mark left from pimple on my DD's face almost 2 months later...

What could this be? My 3.5 year old had a tiny pimple on her cheek, which I popped

Now it has been like over a month and a half and she has a small red mark there still. She is super fair, could it be a scar? The surface of it does kind of shine in the light. When I press on it it blanches except for a tiny red dot in the center.

Is it getting any better at all? I'd think that it would fade over time and with her being so young, her skin should regenerate itself.

It should fade but it will seem like forever before it does. I've had acne forever and always get those spots.

Perhaps it's time for some Mederma, or lavender essential oil put on the spot to help it heal.
