Little beetle wool cover repair

I bought DD a LBWC and after a few uses the elastic broke. Where I bought it at wouldn't exchange it so I am stuck with a not so great functional wool cover. Any ideas on how to repair the elastic? It was a decent wool cover, not the greatest, but I hate not using it at all!

Did you try contacting the manufacturer? So soon after purchase, they may be willing to help you out.

Elastic repair is pretty easy if it comes to that... which style is it - the pull-on or the wrap?

The same thing happened to me a few weeks after I cought a little beetle cover.. which are still my absolutely favorite wool cover because they are sooo soft. Leah (from LB) actually took it back and sent me a new cover. but she doesn't do repairs. I'm not sure if she will take it back if you've had it a while but its worth asking... you know the elastic on my other LB cover broke again about two weeks ago. she should know that people are having problems with them.

I sent an e-mail last night and still haven't gotten a response.

I have had it over a year, although it did happen shortly after purchase. Not that it matters now. I had a lot of family issues going on at the time and just didn't have the patients to deal with the cover especially after reading on a receipt/card in bag that "no returns after removed from bag" or something along those lines. I just didn't think to try. It would be nice for her to exchange but I no way expect her to do so. I just want to fix it ya know.

Cameron's mommy- maybe you should shoot her an e-mail too, they do need to know this keeps happening. it really makes the cover useless without the elastic.

Wow, I still have heard nothing from them! Now I am starting to get upset about this. Did you get yours from green mountain diapers?

Aww... well I got mine from green mountain diapers. Maybe, I will send an email there since I haven't gotten a response and see what she says.

yeah, you could still try emailing the better for babies website, they may still take it for a replacement since it is her product.

I e-mailed her today and still haven't gotten a response. This is turning into a total pita! I'm about to just hack into it and see how it goes. Worse case scenario it will turn into a wool doubler.
