Well, dd (8) doesn't really eat breakfast. It takes her a couple hours of being awake before she wants to eat anything. That means that during the week, she's having her "breakfast" at school during morning snack. She drinks water. And when she's not at school, she gets up around 9am and doesn't eat "breakfast" until about 11am, so it's really lunch. But she also drinks water with this. The only other thing she drinks is milk, and that's usually with supper.

DD1 and I drink water (mine with lemon).
DD2 and I drink rooibas tea.
DD2 and DS drink watered-down grape juice.
DH has decaf coffee and oj.
Sometimes we have fruit smoothies (all fruit, yogurt, no sugar).

My kids drink raw milk. I start the day with a raw green veggie juice.

Usually water. I've been making grape juice from red grapes though, and add a splash of whey from the gallons of greek yogurt I have to make at a time!

I drink coffee and too much of it

ETA: Actually they both usually drink yogurt too. I always keep one jar unstrained because they call it "drink yogurt." I found something interesting with my little particular food snobs. They tire of "smoothies," Which are just blended fruit with yogurt. But if I mix fruit with a little maple syrup and the unstrained yogurt, (blended fruit with yogurt ) they call it drink yogurt and it's fabulous to them. I just stir in a bunch of blueberries chopped a little while frozen, and stir it in to a quart of yogurt. They love to shake it and serve themselves.

DD drinks plain raw milk. I drink whole strawberry milk (Nesquik mix).

Home-brewed, organic black coffee for me. Nice and hot. Then I'm happy.
Same coffee with milk for dh.

Water or milk for dd. Sometimes I juice apples for her, if they've come in our CSA.

We are trying not to drink regular juice. I would love it if I could get dd drinking tea.

Me - coffee

The kids - nothing, or water. I don't even usually offer them anything. Every great once in a while (I would say every two months, or so) we buy orange juice to go along with a big brunch.

Kids: coconut milk or strawberry coconut milk kefir

Me: water or strawberry coconut milk kefir

I don't eat breakfast every day, however, I'm trying to drink some milk every day. We had a lot milk going bad even though I love milk, and I realized this is because, unlike when I was a child and had a "time" to drink milk (milk with dinner every night), I don't have a set time to drink milk. and I can't drink it with dinner often because I can't have milk and dairy together. So I decided I would make breakfast "milk time", even if I only have milk for breakfast some days.

We'll see if we buy grass-fed, non-homogenized milk when the quart of raw I was gifted runs out. would prefer raw, but can't afford it regularly atm.

I drink coffee and the kid likes to drink water out of a big kid cup. I'm suprised actually how much he digs the H2O. "Course he is still plenty young!

So am I the only poster who is curious as to why?

DH: OJ

DD: raw milk or water, usually milk
Me: Ummmmm..... organic, fair trade dark roast coffee with *coughInternationalDelightVanillacreamercough*

I know its bad and evil and gross, but its the ONLY nonorganic, non whole foods thing I eat, I swear, and I'm about to replace it with raw cream and a vanilla simple syrup, which is at least slightly better.
