toddler & massive leaks

Ds, almost 2, wears pfs and wool. Lately he has been having such huge pees that he is soaking through his longies/covers. As in, so much pee that it goes drips onto the floor. I lanolize every time I wash. I check his diaper frequently but I think he is going less often and more instead of more frequently and less. What can I do? At this point I don't want to buy any more diapers or covers and he isn't interested in PL yet. I put him in a sposie yesterday after two leaks but I'd rather him be in cloth all the time so close to PL.

You need some extra absorbency. Ds does this too, so I add 2 doublers or one pad-folded flat (just folded into a skinny rectangle) and place them in the soaker part of the prefold. Catches all the pee.

Ditto. Get some doublers (I like hemp for that!) or use two prefolds. It's a little more bulky, but that's probably the only way you can catch everything!
