We use ours for everything. I think it's kind of funny that someone would get hung up on this (no offense to anyone): everything gets washed in the same washing machine, at least at my house. If you're going to be worried about the cleanliness of wipes, you might as well be worried about towels... napkins... pants...

Totally not disgusting! We use em for just about everything, and now that dd is a little older, she "uses" them on her babydoll so cute...

I've even used my wipes on myself from time to time. Now, I also carry around some cheap gerber flats in the diaper bag for after-eating clean up, but that's only because they're bigger and more absorbent.

They're just little washcloths. We use them for everything. My 6yr old DD uses them to wipe. especially when she's irritated. She loves them.

Absolutely! I even use them to blow my own nose If someone has a cold we sometimes have to wash the diapers so we have enough wipes!

We use cheapo washclothes from BRU for EVERYTHING. They aren't even 100% cotton by my kids aren't really sensitive so it never bothered them to use them as wipes. The babe uses them as wipes, the toddler uses them for hands/face, we pack them into lunches as napkins, and sometimes they get used around the kitchen too. The regular wipes go in with the laundry. The bottom wipes get washed with the diapers. They get all mixed though when laundry is folded.

They are clean-- i don't see why it is gross.

When my kids were little (1977 and 1980), disposable wipes were just coming into the market place. I bought a couple of boxes, just because it was a new thing, but I really did not like them. I just used soft baby washcloths for wiping from top to bottom. I mean when you think about it what were people using before the disposable revolution? Cloth of course! And we even have washing machines and hot water, to wash our stuff in now. I use washcloths for everything! I can't remember the last time I bought paper towels! Back in the day I used cloth diapers and diaper pins!
