My sil and I are both pregnant and due about 2months apart. The last time around she ended up with a csection for the basic convience of the dr (there was a snowstorm coming...).
She thinks that she HAS to have a csection this time around and has no idea there is even an option. She is fairly mainstream and I would love to have a list of websites to email her and a few books to send that are not super gooey new agey(no offense...I love the goo ) But something that makes her think that VBAC is an option and a very viable healthy and safe option.
Do you guys know of any???

CHeck out the ICAN website and post in the VBAC forum for wise Mamas with heaps of experience.

Be prepared that she might not want to explore this as an option and might be happy or pleased that she "needs" a c-sec. It is great to offer her these resources, but if she chooses not to pursue them, then the next best choice is to support her birth choice and validate her experiences.

Congrats on your pregnancy and so wonderful that the little cousins will be so close in age! Enjoy!
