1yr Breastfeeding Milestone!

Not a regular poster on here but as of today, my daughter and I have reached the 1yr breastfeeding milestone! She is my last, and only daughter that I have nursed for a full year. The first two months were pretty tough not because of poor latch or low milk supply. I was incredibly fortunate that latch was perfect from the get-go and I was a Holstein in the milk dept-lol but because she literally nursed every 30min to an hour round clock for 2mos straight. It was exhausting and draining, especially with two other children to tend to but we persevered with help, encouragement and support and look at us now.

Here's hoping to another great year!

That is so awesome! Congratulations and good luck with the coming year!

DD and I will hit a year in March and so far it's been great, besides the criticism from family for wanting to nurse for at least 2 years, but I'm stubborn so they will just have to deal with it! LOL I am actually hoping to BLW!
