Pikkolo or Mei Tai

So confused! I have a 19lb almost 8 mo. old and we are going to disney and I really need a great carrier!

For those of you experienced babywearers which would you choose and why. My little one loves to be carried but he's outgrown our current carrier and I just need a new one. I would like it to be something we can grow with, maybe something he could nurse in and also something comfortable to sleep in.

The reason I was looking at the pikkolo is due to the optino of wearing him FFO while in disney. What do you think?

I'm not super experienced, but for long hours of BWing, I'd suggest an Ergo.

I also have a Pikkolo, and I still like my Ergo more. Maybe that's because I don't have the waist support belt for my Pikkolo, whereas on the Ergo it's built in. So, for an 8 mo old, I'd get the waist belt also if you get a Pikkolo. (p.s. don't get a black one unless you like white lint.) I have the Cloud pattern and really like it. I should also add that my LO can see out of the Pikkolo while facing IN better than she can in the Ergo, however. This also means her arms get out easier and she can move them more, i.e. she grabs at everything when we're in stores, etc.

I don't have mei tai experience, but I'd think the Pikkolo would have better support, with the waist belt versus a mei tei, since a Pikkolo is sort of a mei tai with buckles, not ties. It has probably a shorter learning curve, too, since you don't need to learn how to tie it.
