are hot tubs ok??

Is spending time in a hot tub OK while breastfeeding? I have an opportunity but wonder about all that heat and milk supply.

I've gone in a hot tub twice while on vacation & noticed no effect on my milk supply. I did make sure to wash off well before feeding DS (all the chlorine in those hot tubs!) and I didn't stay in long (I get dizzy if I stay in too long).

Hot tubs are fine. Just observe normal safety guidelines (cleanliness and hygiene, especially in a public tub) and drink enough liquid to stay hydrated. Hot tub soaks are great for plugged ducts!
