Mild, but constant headache pp

I had an epidural with my VBAC on 2/1 & have had a mild but somewhat constant headache since. From what I am reading, if it were from the epidural, I would feel awful & it would be much more painful??? Sounds like they are debilitating? I haven't needed to take anything for it although have thought about taking a tylenol a few times.

Is this just hormones or lack of sleep????

Could be either. Could be a small leak from a dural puncture. Could also be pp onset of PIH, which is pretty rare, but it does happen. I'd check in with your actual provider.

Are you drinking enough water? I've had some headache trouble ever since I had dd2. It hasn't been dehydration, but while going through my mental checklist of possible causes, I realized I wasn't drinking enough water. When I upped my fluid intake, it didn't get rid of the headaches, but it did make me feel better in other ways. It's worth a try, if it's at all possible.

Mine was from hypertension. And though I have had some good days where it is almost not noticeable, it has been there since the birth. I am hoping it will go away soon.

Hope you feel better soon. It is not fun, that is for sure.
