sick six week old baby

My six week old baby boy is coming down with a cold. My 2 year old boy got sick a week ago with a fever over 103 and a really bad cough. His fever lasted 3 days and he still has a bad cough and runny nose, but is now on the mend. Now my six week old has a runny nose and a bad cough. His breathing is raspy but doesn't sound strained. Is there anything I can do for a six week old and at what point should he see a doctor?

I was always told that ANY fever in a newborn (less than 6 months) should be seen by a doctor. Dr. Sear's website also has a good reference on "is my child dehydrated", which is very crucial at this age. I hope the little one gets well soon!
