My night time diaper solution!

I have been having such issues with night time diapering, pocket diapers leaking no matter what I do, and the fitteds or prefolds get soaked all through out the diaper, around his waist and legs. I don't like the idea of the wetness being against him all night. If you all are anything like me you have a hard time getting up to change your babes multiple times a night!... so one of you other ladies on here was asking about the g diapers.. I have a couple g diapers that I was given at my baby shower. So last night I used a g diaper and placed in the pouch a terry soaker, and my bum genuis insert, then topped it with a fleece liner, then I put on his wool longies over top just incase there was leakage... OMG it worked beautifully! all the wetness stayed in the little pouch part.. not a drop on the outer cloth part! and the he stayed dry because of the fleece! of course this was just one night but I woke up soooo happy .... i'll let you all know how it goes over the nexr couple of nights!

Sorry if it's a dummy question but whats a g diaper??

lol its not a dummy question! cause g diapers aren't exactly accepted that well in the cloth diapering world...as far as I can tell. but they are a cloth shell with a water proof inner that snaps into the inside of the cloth then you place a flushable pad into the pouch. so you still have to disppse of something with these diapers and the pads are kind of expensive, but my pocket diaper inserts fit into the pouch well. I just have them laying around because people bought them for me at my baby shower... Happy diapering!
