yes, it works with most women. There are certain women it will not work with (for example women with hormonal problems like PCOS or who are getting hCG shots... they could mess it up)
however... its not going to get you pregnant for sure. Its only a tool to help you optimize your chances through timing. That said... its a very useful tool for any woman it will work for.
(a warning... some women do not get a peak reading their first month using it... so if you do not there's really nothing wrong with you, the monitor has to get used to your particular levels of hormones through your cycle)

Like another member said - it works for some and not other women. I have PCOS and was on Clomid and the hCG triiger and got great readings. But, I was being treated for my PCOS. The biggest issue is the cost of sticks. It was draining. I prefer the OvaTel fertility monitor as it uses saliva. I will never need to buy strips either. I also like he 5 day window verses a 2 day one with the CBE.

it works for me. well sort of. it tells me when i'm ovulating, just hasnt gotten me prego yet! this is my 3rd month. it usually gives me five days of high readings and two peak days. i have used it along w/ other opks and the results r the same except the monitor distinguishes between peak and high. I think it reads both estrogen and lutenizing hormone so it is more accurate than the opks. my temp always spikes the day after the 2nd peak.
my only advice to you is don't bd every day you have a high. it may give u 5-7 high readings and then u'll be all sexed out by your peak. i'm sure the swimmers are still fresh though. i would recommend every other day, preferably in the am and both peak days.
good luck to you!

I borrowed one from a friend when I was TTC #1 (DS) and got pg right away. I'm 35 now and trying for #2 so I don't want to waste much time, but didn't want to spend the $200+ for the whole contraption so I found one on Craigslist for $40. We're waiting one more cycle to TTC since we had a m/c in early January but I have it all set to go for next cycle!

I have one and used it 2 different cycles. Both times I O'd the second peak day. I like it better than just using OPKs. And it did give me a LOT of high readings. I didn't use it this cycle because I forgot to look for the sticks on ebay and I didn't want to pay $50 for them at CVS when I got my last ones on ebay for about $30. But I like it much better than OPKs.
