I confess. My DD watched A LOT more DVD's than I would ever have allowed under non-blizzard conditions.

we made cookies....and I used only white flour and all the sugar the recipe called for (however the next day dp "lied" to ds and told him they were all eaten already)

we *tried* to eat dinner in front of the tv while watching a movie however, ponyo turned out to be too scary for ds (waves with eyes scary!)

Lots of chocolate, and loves of movies/snuggling

During snow storms, we usually play more Wii in one day than we typically do in one week

We cut school. I homeschool and we didn't do any school on the big snow day...We walked around town, built a snowman, hung out with a nice local family then came home and made cookies and just lazed around

To much TV for us, too.

Also: a confession.

During winter we are kind of hermits. We always end up watching movies/baking too much/ generally hanging out in flannel jammies. DD isn't a fan of the "cold" and we have had a pretty cold/windy winter here.

there was whining and hissy fit throwing all over the place. way too much TV and way too much junk food.

the kids however were held to the same rules as always.

We always get snow. I hate hate hate it and if it doesn't end soon I am moving. I cannot take another snowfall without seriously having a mental break down.
