Anterior Fontanel not closed at 2?

My daughter is going to be 2 on Tuesday. My midwives commented on how large her anterior fontanel seemed at birth, and it still has not completely closed. I've read that it should be closed by age 2. Does anyone have any experience with this? Hopefully it is just a variation of normal.

Both my older 2 still had it at 24 months, it closed by 30 months. Both had a big head like their dad- I thought it just took longer to close on such a big noggin. Both kids were hitting mile stones fine, and it was getting smaller, so I didn't worry about it.

Thank you, that is very reassuring!
