Intense pain while pregnant and breastfeeding?

Forgive me if this same question has been posted 28 times! I'm just desperate for answers!!

I'm pregnant (very early) and BFing my 20 month old D/S. I plan to nurse through the pregnancy and then tandem nurse.

But OH MY GOSH! The pain! It feels like when I started nursing my first baby! The painful latch on, the burning sensation for hours afterwards.

Will this go away or at least get less painful or is this what nursing while pregnant is like?

For me it hurt really bad until 5-6mos when my milk increased again...then he didn't suck as hard. IT wasn't fully pain free until DS2 was a couple weeks old. I hope someone else had a better experience!

The feeling like glass shards were pushed into my nipples while the child nurses passed after the first tri, but it was still painful through the entire pg. Starting halfway through the 2nd tri is when the creepy crawlies have always started for me. It is this intense feeling of wanting to throw my child off of me and run down the street screaming, it was all I could do to sit there. Nursing while pg is one of the things that I truly hate, I do it because it is what that child needs but I always dread the thought of doing it.
