Who has a woombie?

Anyone have a woombie and use it on a LO that doesnt like being swaddled? DS hates being swaddled in a blanket, but he wakes himself up all the time with his arms. He does the startle reflex, or sometimes he will hit or scratch himself in the face. I was thinking maybe if I ordered a larger size woombie, it would stop that.

Anyone have one, love it, hate it? Or any other ideas for a LO that hates being wrapped tightly but wakes himself up would be great.

My baby is the opposite - she HAS to be swaddled to sleep, and it drives me crazy! She's 9.5 months old and I was hoping we'd be done with the swaddle by now! I use the Miracle Blanket but have tried the Woombie, which just makes her mad because she can move her arms but not rub her eyes or mouth her hands.

I think for you it would be worth a try!

We have one. We don't use it a ton, but when we do, DS doesn't seem to mind. I'd he has had a couple nights in a row of bad sleep, I'll bring out the woombie to "reset" his sleep habits. Sometimes I'll just start him out with it around his legs and if he seems restless I may bring it up to wrap the arms too in the middle of the night.

When he chews on his hands at night he'll just chew on them through the woombie fabric -- it doesn't seem to bother him.

I'm so glad to read that someone is still swaddling at 9.5 months. My 5.5 month old still needs to be swaddled - and is breaking out of his miracle blanket sometimes 3 times a night, so I just started looking at getting a woombie out of desperation for more than an hours sleep in a row! I think I'll try one. Thanks for this thread!
