I reintroduced the breast to DS last Wednesday. Before then I was EPing because he had issues with his tongue tie. He had it released on Tuesday. When he was given breastmilk by bottle he had nice mustardy yellow stools. Since he was put to the breast they've been a dark green to yellow-green.

At first I thought it was a hind milk/foremilk imbalance. I remember what his stools looked like when he wasn't getting much of the hind milk. His stools were light green and thin/scanty. This was when he wasn't getting much milk from me because he couldn't nurse efficiently and I had low supply -- from tongue tie. The green stools he's having now are different. Consistency of normal breastmilk stool, but dark green to yellow-green.

The LC asked if my diet has changed and it hasn't, but then I just remembered that supplements and green leafy veggies can change stool color. I started taking Moringa the day he returned to the breast. Could that be it? It's a green leafy vegetable. Could this be it? I hope so 'cause then I could stop worrying over whether or not he's getting enough milk and if it's the fatty milk.

He lost weight when he was on the breast before so I'm super aware and anxious about his returning to the breast. I just want everything to go smoothly from here on out.
