Hi, I am new to diaper making -- and soon to be new to diapering as I am 37 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I bought some fleece fabric at Joann's and was planning to make some fleece covers -- I know this isn't the best quality fleece, but it is what I could get my hands on quickly and fairy inexpensively, and I figured I would double to fabric. I used a Butterick 5220 pattern that I had, and modified it a bit with a free tutorial on the internet http://www.diapersewing.com/fleece_with_snaps.htm
I think, though, that it looks too narrow in the front and I'm afraid it will gap in the legs.
What patterns have people found that work well for fleece covers? Are there any with gussetted legs? Do people find that fleece works well for covers?
Thanks,
Donna
