Several years ago, I found this forum when my oldest was ~2, and I was tandem nursing him and his infant sister. Three years (and another baby) later, I am happy to report that Sam has weaned, of his own accord, about a month before his fifth birthday!! I blogged about it here, if you're interested. I'm grateful for the support I received here (and anywhere, virtual and actual), where I could ask a question or tell a story without having to explain or justify our choices.

Glad you had a spot to find the support you needed, I love that about this place. Way to go giving Sam (and his siblings) the wonderful gift of breastmilk for so long.
