Synthroid and Vivid Dreams?

I've been on synthroid for about 3 weeks now, and one change I've noticed is having very vivid dreams nightly. Is that a side effect? Has anyone else experienced this? If so, does it eventually go away?

I seem to remember that....were you quite badly hypo before you began taking it? I remember the first few weeks of "normal" levels i felt like i was hyper, but i'd been a bit hypo for years and severely hypo for about 6 months, and it was just a bit of a shock i think for my body to "wake up". I've been on it since the end of 2006 and i am having vivid pregnancy dreams just now, and really noticing them, so they did go away after a while. I don't know how long, sorry, i do remember feeling normal (not hyped up) about 3 months after having the BT which said i was euthyroid again.

ETA - as an example of how hypo i was, my resting heartrate was 38bpm. It's about 55 when i'm healthy!
