Please share your experience w/the Method brand dishwasher tablets? Any good?

I picked some up at the Target last week but might return them because I worry that they won't dissolve completely or get my dishes clean enough.

I usually use 7th generation.

Has anyone used these? Are they any good?

I don't remember how effective they were, but I do remember that they had a TON of fragrance in them. I liked the smell, but it probably was not too healthy to have on something you eat off of - are yours the ones with scent added?(you'd be able to smell it thru the bottle, it was so strong).

Thanks for the reply. I can't do any fragrances. The bag says free of dyes and perfumes. I cannot smell any stink on the outside of the bag, so hopefully that is a good sign! ITA w/you, anything that smells like the stench you described coming through the bag/bottle can't be good, lol!

I haven't used the Method ones.

We really like the Finish (electrosol) tablets. I tried all varieties of natural for the dishwasher, but this stuff works consistently.

Cascade and similar - not really tabs, but gel sacs - had wretched fragrance that wove its way into my travel mugs and stank up my dishwasher for a long time. I called the company to complain, and they wanted to send me coupons.

I haven't found anything that works as well as ecover tabs. I wish they weren't so expensive. I haven't tried method, yet.

Hmmm - wonder if they've changed things since then - I know that the ones I bought were at least 5 years ago, and man the perfume smell was strong - I reused the lovely jar for clothes soap, and it STILL smells of the dishsoap, though the laundry soap I use is all unscented. So if you can't smell it, they must have changed.

May have to try these again myself...

Method Dish Washer Tabs worked for me -

I also bought the fragrance free Method tabs and they seemed to work just fine. I also run a baking soda and/or white viniger cycle every week to keep thing fresh.

I love them! The SG soap never got everything clean and left a film, but Method hasn't so far. I also use vinegar in place of "Jet Dry" crap.

I've been happy with them, too. I've tried all sorts of detergents in my dishwasher and so many things have not worked.
