Had a MW appt today - I'm 25.5 weeks, measuring 26. Everything is going great for me. Sprocket (our name for the baby) is kicking up a storm, and I love it!!!

I'm headed to South Miami this weekend for a business trip, but considering we still have 3 more months of winter here.....I'll welcome any reason to go to Miami this time of year.

AFM, i've been feeling off lately. i don't feel sick but my tastes/stomach have been acting strange. it's hard to describe. last night i was miserable. i had what a think was reflux so bad that it kept me tossing and turning all night with no relief. of course i did devour a whole sub 3 or so hrs before i went to sleep, but i was sitting up that whole time. anyway, i didn't get much sleep last night, and i'm so tired right now. *sigh*

but the good news, we have more baby stuff. my coworker gave me his son's old carseat (it's a graco snugride), and i bought a carrier/wetbag from a seller off of etsy. and then my MIL said that she would by us the crib off of our registry. woo hoo!

I have to have an ultrasound every week because my last daughter passed at full term (38 weeks) and we never really found out why, but assumed it was from a tight cord around her neck. The NST's weekly are to make sure she's not in distress in there from anything. The extra monitoring in general is from my uterine rupture when B was born in 2008. I've already had about 7 ultrasounds since I've been pregnant this time, there really are not studies PROVING that it's harmful to have many ultrasound. With B I had something like 28 ultrasounds due to Kam's passing the pregnancy before. I am 31 so my age isn't a factor in it, just my insane obstetrical history. If your midwife feels like that's best the I say go with it. She knows more than me (or anyone here) what is best for you and your bean. Good luck and I hope this helped?!?!?!

So on Thursday night/Friday morning, my BFF, had her baby girl. Adisen Makenzi, and I got to be there for her!!! It was so sweet and such a fast labor, very exciting!!!

On Wednesday, my Amnio was scheduled for March 30th. I found out on friday, if its ++ for lung maturity they'll deliver her on April 1st via C/S. I can't believe it's so close. We're freaking out a bit, because we're going to have another little one so soon, but so excited!!!

I've also been prescribed Prilosec for heart burn, and I now have NONE!! LOVE IT!!!

Awwww tenk I'm so happy for your Bff! What a cute name too! Oh wow and a possible April fools day baby for you. How fun! Ds was born on 4/3 so he was almost an april fools baby. So I'm guessing you're gonna be the first in
out ddc to have their lo. Yay! We are so close, wow!
