Down my shirt...All.The.Time......WWYD??

My 14.5 month old has suddenly become very very interested in seeing & touching the boobies even when not nursing. He is constantly lifting my shirt or putting his hands down my shirt with a look of glee. Redirecting & distracting don't seem to work. He gets very upset if I say no. He wants to look & touch even when he doesn't want to nurse, so if I offer to nurse he just latches for 30 seconds and then returns to fondling...I have to admit it is pretty adorable but I know that I don't want to do this forever or in public....
So - do you think this is a phase and I should just let him do it or do I need to set limits now rather than let it continue?

Whatever you are comfortable with is ok. Personally I don't like ds doing it, especially when people are around so I ask him if he would like to nurse & offer. If he declines then I put him down or remove his hands (often putting him down is easier). Yes, he does get upset sometimes but I know he will learn it's not ok & that he needs to ask nicely (he has no words yet).

I agree with this. I don't allow it but I get touched out very easily. We nurse a few times a day (not on demand any more) and she can have all the snuggles she wants. But no groping. It drives me nuts.

Ds went through a heavy groping stage at about the same age. It lasted about a month. It didn't bother me, so I only redirected if we were in public. The issue resolved itself .
