chart question

So I was sick right after AF so my pre-O temps are a little higher than normal - because I didn't sleep well and fighting off the bug I. My question is, given that info, can I safely discard the 2 or 3 temps that I did, and presume my CHs are accurate? All the other signs (CM dry up, sex drive nose dive LOL and avg previous O dates) coincide with the O day when I discard those temps.
Thanks in advance!

i would say your charts is pretty correct, based on your other signs and previous cycles, things look good.

HI - here is my suggestion as charting is one of those tricky things. Since you are regular and have a reliable cycle with a reliable ovulation, I would normally say - sure why not. But, since you were actually ill, the answer would be no. When we are sick not only does our temps go wonky, so do our cycles on occassion. If this cycle gets weird and you think you 'o'ed when you did not, you might get nervous. I would make notes on those temps that you had to take them out to get good crosshairs and that ovulation this cycle could have been delayed or not at all since you were sick.

*bump* for any more opinions?

If it were me, I would just leave them and document the days that you were ill. There are all kinds of external factors that can throw your temps off a bit (sleeping with your mouth open, covers slipping off, illness, etc.) and it's my understanding that you shouldn't try to adjust for these things, just note them and leave things as they are. Good luck!

Thanks for the input ladies!
I know I should leave well enough alone, but those 2 temps really aren't that accurate - definately not after 4 hours of sleep and not at my usual waking time which is why I even consider discarding them. I don't think I would get CHs yet if I left them in. I was af crampy today, but my CM has definately still dried up so I don't think I would be Oing this late.
I guess I am stuck with the wait and see game!
Very frustrating after a year's worth of charts and I still have to play guessing games! LOL

I'd probably leave them, but mark 'illness' and 'sleep deprived' so it will give you an open circle on those temps and they won't be depended upon too much. I think FF has it right though so you can probably just leave them and it would turn out ok anyways
