Nick JR question: What is "Chip Chip" the class pet?

As in, what kind of animal is she? We can't figure it out! She has a long tail, so obviously not a hamster or whatnot, not long enough to be a ferret, can't be a cat in that tiny cage with the water bottle......so what is she?

That's incorrect. chinchilla's are grey or dark brown. Chip chip is a chipmunk, hence the reason her name is "chip chip".

Chinchillas can be many many colors. Gray (like the wild ones), beige, white, white with black, white with brown, solid black, solid dark brown...etc.

I haven't seen chip chip, so i can't comment on what he may be.
