My 15 month old DD has recently (this last week) started biting hard. At first, when she'd pull off the nipple, she'd tighten her teeth and 'graze' on her way off with sharp teeth!
It's gotten worse in the last few days. She has a terrible cold and now, she'll ask to nurse, seem desperate for it, and then give me a hard bite. And look despondent when I don't let her keep biting me.
We had a tiny period like this when she was teething (at nine or ten months) and I took the advice I found here -- pulling her close to the breast -- and it worked. Within a day or two, all was perfect. But it's not working this time.
Advice? Anyone?
