Colored squares under members' names?

One is a blue and purple swirly and the other is a red box with a yellow A in it.

I can't make rhyme or reason of who has them and what they mean, and I've looked everywhere for an answer. I give up!

Also, what does this symbol mean: )O( ?

The "S" is for Supporting members and the "A" is for advertisers

The )O( is waxing/full/waning moon, maiden/mother/crone, symbol of the triple goddess, paganism, or wicca.

More can be found in the abbreviations list. There are many I hadn't known previously, either!

Hey thanks!

Are there some levels of supporting membership that don't make your UN pink? That's why I couldn't figure it out - some people have it but don't appear to be supporting members.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I didn't realize that you could choose to turn your name pink after you subscribed.

Thanks, mods!

I have searched and have not figured it out...how do you change the color of your username?

And another silly queston I have never figured out...how do you edit the Title of a thread you have started if you are updating?

Thx!

To edit the title of your thread, click on "edit" then "go advanced". That gives you the option to edit your title.

Username Colors --

Username Colors
Green: Administrators
Purple: Moderators
Orange: Granola Ambassadors
Pink: Supporting Members
Dark Red: Members using Signature Advertising

Changing your username color requires having purchased a support member or signature advertising package. After purchasing a subscription via PayPal and returning to MDC, click UserCP at the top left, then click Group Memberships. There you can select from the default username color, the pink username color if you bought a supporting membership. After a business signature purchase, we ask that you indicate that you are a business subscriber by changing your username to red in your UserCP under Group Memberships.

HTH!!
