natural ringworm treatment and other questions

For the first time ever, I have a small spot of ringworm on my arm. I am using tea tree oil 3 times a day and apple cider vinegar. I am also going to try pau d arco tea and raw garlic poultices.

I don't want to have to pay out of pocket to see the naturopath, do do you all have other tried and true natural (especially homeopathic) ringworm cures?

So why this is x-posted in "life with a babe" is that I am worried also about transmitting it to my 10 mo old. The way we have always taken baths was together in the big bathtub. I don't really have another way to bathe her, though she could go in with DH, I guess. I know ringworm is transmittable by skin to skin contact but can it be transmitted in bathwater? I've tried to find this info online and can't.

Thank you in advance!

Like you already said, I'd try a patch of crushed garlic and tea tree oil on it for a few days and see if that helps. You might want to do some sugar free days during that time, too (not positive about that but it cannot hurt).

Like any other fungus, your baby has to be susceptible to catch it, even if exposed. I'd not take baths that way just in case, but she might not catch it.

I'd had some fungal stuff go on that a) disappeared when I didn't eat sugar for a long time and b) my dh didn't catch despite being exposed lots (ok, ok, it was the foot funk, different than ringwork but contagious under the right conditions)

I haven't eaten refined sugar in many years because it triggers migraines. But recently I started introducing (and loving) raw unfiltered honey since I stopped using agave due to the recent news about how the body recognizes that type of sugar. I wonder if the ringworm grew because of the honey? Do you think that is possible?

I wouldn't think so! Honey is an antifungal.. you could even put it on the spot if need be..

i got ringworm when i worked in a vets office many years ago. she told me to put miconazole cream on it. she also did that for the animals we saw with ringworm. it worked well. took a week or so. i know it isn't organic/holistic but it is cheap and works

Ok---

I'm using
TTO
Lavender oil
ACV
Coconut oil
Raw garlic poultice (clove of garlic cut and taped to my arm over the ringworm)

What I am wondering is how many times a day to use each? I use TTO twice, Lavender oil twice, ACV twice, coconut oil once, and garlic once. Do you think I should do more? How long until I see improvement? And...Should I keep doing it even after the ring is gone just to make sure?
