Hey Sally,

I've been thinking about taking the bus into the city but it has been so darn hot, i'm hoping maybe next week it will cool a bit and we can venture in. Although i'm not quite sure what is around the bus stops-
Washington & 6th
7th & Locust
Tucker & Market
14th & Market
Jefferson & Pine

I've heard awesome things about the Magic House and we cannot wait to go. It's a bit intimidating learning stick in a town i don't know with a cranky toddler in the backseat...but i'm slowly coming along, i don't get much time to practice but we are looking forward to being out & about St.Louis ASAP!

We'll be hitting up the Earth Day Festival next week at Muny. Anyone else planning to go?

I hear it's pretty cool and hoping there will be some vegetarian vendors so we can eat good food and know where to get grub when we go to STL.

Thanks for the luck, offer of help and checking in. We're finally here but had some craziness to deal with before we left. I finally got internet yesterday which is kind of good because our allergies are awful today so i have an excuse to be on and catch up.

Since i haven't fully learned to drive my car yet (manual). I've been throwing Van in the baby backpack and checking out the area. Mostly just the parks, coffee shops and libraries to this point, it's been so hot!

We have a wide open schedule so if anyone would like to meet up, we'd love to! We go to the parks over by the Watershed nearly every day and will be there on Sunday for the Family Day. We look forward to also checking out the Childrens Museum and YMCA soon. Any other suggestions?

Good luck learning to drive your vehicle, I havent learned to drive a manual.

I would like to go to the Children's Museum sometime, havent been yet.

Also I would definitely recommend the Magic House in St. Louis, so fun, but give yourself lots of time because theres so much to do!

Also, I think I wrote about this in my first post to this thread, are you going to any LLL meetings? There's an evening one for the Maryville/Collinsville area the 3rd Monday of the month and a morning one in Fairview Heights the 3rd Wednesday of the month. I'll be at the Fairview one, it's this week

I would be going to LLL if i knew how to drive my car...but that's slowly coming along because i don't get too many chances to practice. Once i get more familiar and can make it over i definitely will! Keep you posted if we can go.
